Job Description:

To assist with the daily operation of the Leisure Time Activities Department.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

Two year degree in Recreational Therapy, Gerontology, Occupational Therapy or Activity Certification preferred or High School Diploma and at least two (2) years experience working/volunteering in a geriatric social and/or recreational setting. Valid NYS Driver’s License CDL/C Driver’s License (may obtain during probationary period).

Only applicants who already have the competencies to fill the position and who can fill the position without training will be considered.

Salary Range:

$19.74-$25.01 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
