Enterprise Charter School (ECS) Overview:
Enterprise is a public charter school in Buffalo, New York educating children in kindergarten through eighth grade. Founded in 2003, ECS is committed to "Engaging young minds through projects and partnerships."

Enterprise Charter School is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore their artistic potential, foster creativity, and develop technical skills in a variety of media. The Art Teacher will be responsible for teaching students from grades kindergarten through eighth, guiding them through the creative process, and helping them develop an appreciation for the arts.The ideal candidate should have aBachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS
A demonstrated interest in impacting K-8 students in urban schools and communities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging art lessons that encourage creativity and artistic exploration.
Teach students a range of visual arts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, digital art, and other media.
Guide students in the development of their technical skills, artistic concepts, and personal style.
Create and implement a curriculum that meets both educational standards and the diverse needs of students.
Organize and curate student art exhibits, displaying their work within the school or at community events.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages self-expression, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student achievements.
Integrate art history, contemporary art, and cross-disciplinary projects into lessons to deepen students' understanding of the arts.
Collaborate with other faculty members and school staff to support student development.
Maintain an organized and safe classroom environment with proper care of art supplies and materials.
Enterprise Charter School offers a competitive salary, health benefits and is a member of the NYS Teacher Retirement System. Position starts at $45,000 higher rate of pay based on certification and experience.
