Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Lathe Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring high-quality production standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator looking to contribute their expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathe machines for production and experimental runs.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining.
Edit and adjust CNC programs using machine consoles to optimize performance.
Monitor tool wear and perform necessary adjustments during machining cycles.
Perform inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Pre-set tools and perform deburring or other related operations as cycle times allow.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficiency in CNC setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of blueprint interpretation and mechanical processes.
Experience with multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications, with a focus on tool wear monitoring.
Ability to perform machine changeovers and ensure smooth production flows.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
Additional Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of CNC operation experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
A reliable work history and strong commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Experience Level: Intermediate
