Responsible for overseeing all stages of construction and construction teams to include ensuring all objectives and standards are met.Specific Responsibilities:Plan, implement, and supervise the completion of construction projectsAssist in the acquisition, future planning, and budgeting of upcoming projectsManage, coach, and evaluate site supervisors including schedules, workflow and outputEnsure a safe work site for site supervisors and subcontractorsPrepares and monitor progress of all projects including budget targets and objectivesAllocate resources to each project ensuring timely completion in line with organizational goalsInterface with city, county, and governmental reviewers and inspectorsMeet regularly with clients, third parties, and managers to report on progressManage relationships with general contractors and direct vendorsPreparation of RFIsPartner with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Site SuperintendentsEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetCommunicate project status and workflow to internal staff on a regular basisProven financial literacy skills including budgeting and forecastingTracking/reporting project costsRevenue and adherence to project estimateBasic Qualifications:A degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture is desirable but not required10-15 years of proven leadership and construction management experience requiredRehabilitation, renovation, and preservation experience a plusStrong working knowledge of MS Office, Project, and Procore are preferredCurrent New York State Driver License with insurable driving recordExcellent project planning, budgeting, implementation and execution strategies skillsStrong organizational skills: ability to set priorities and work on multiple projects simultaneouslyHigh energy level, strong sense of initiative, creative problem solving, flexibility, and discretionary skillsAbility to work collaboratively, independently, strategically, and tactically
