CUBRC, Inc. Electrical Technician in Buffalo, New York
Job Summary:Candidate would be a member of the CUBRC Aerosciences group involved with high-speed wind tunnel testing. Primary responsibilities include electrical hook-up and checkout testing of low-voltage model and tunnel instrumentation.Why CUBRC:· 401(k) - No Waiting Period. 100% Vested on date of hire.· 3% company contribution in the first year of employment, company contribution increases over time. RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:· High school diploma or GED· 2 years’ related experience or equivalent education· Basic knowledge of electrical systems and measuring/diagnostic tools· Able to work independently from drawings and specifications with supervision as well as in a team environment· Willing to work extended hours occasionally· Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to meet eligibility requirements to obtain a government security clearancePreferred Qualifications:· Formal technical training above a high school level· Experience working with 120, 240, & 480 VAC· Basic hand-tool and mechanic skills
