Job Description:

The Physician Assistant will be available to the private medical service to initiate the evaluation of patients with acute problems, perform specified minor procedures, collection of blood specimens, and participate in other activities of the Department as might be assigned by the head of the Department of Medicine.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

REPOST FLEX Current NYS registration as a Registered Physician Assistant and American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire and must be maintained thereafter. One (1) year Clinical experience as a Physician Assistant preferred. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification is required upon hire. For PA's in the OCH Nurse Practitioners (10146), AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and AAP NRP are required upon hire. STABLE certification required 2 years from date of hire.

Salary Range:

$61.82-$76.66 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
