Job Summary: The Press Helper assists Press Operators in the setup and operation of equipment following CCLs Standard Operating Procedures.
Duties/Responsibilities: Assist Press Operator by ensuring they have the proper material and supplies. Help set up new jobs by installing plates, cylinders, rollers, dies and screens. Ensure rolls of raw material are mounted on the unwind shaft during production run. Perform total preventive maintenance on the press and all equipment.
Required Skills/Abilities: Mechanical knowledge. Analytical thinking. Eagerness to learn.
Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Manufacturing experience.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unaided from the floor to the chest frequently.
