Position Summary:
The Research Technician I position will support the research program of Professor Dr. Jae Lee (https://arts-sciences.buffalo.edu/biological-sciences/faculty/faculty-directory/jae-w-lee.html) in the Department of Biological Sciences (https://arts-sciences.buffalo.edu/biological-sciences.html) . Projects will focus on discovery of key genes or factors pertaining to neurodevelopmental processes.
Investigation and examination tasks within the predetermined research scope or methodology may include:
Engagement in research activities
Evaluation of theories and principles
Performing technical tasks associated with research activity.

Minimum Qualifications:
Professional knowledge/education of the disciplinary field and the ability to relate knowledge to various phenomena under study.
Requires education in a specific field and at least one year of experience directly related to the research or the program.
Requires fundamental knowledge of scientific, medical or other disciplinary terminology and associated mathematical competence.
Proven ability to apply the theory, concepts and principles in the field of study or discipline.
