CTG Talent Acquisition Coordinator in Buffalo, New York

CTG is seeking to fill a Talent Acquisition Coordinator opening for our client in Buffalo, NY.

Location: Buffalo, NY (downtown, onsite)

Duration: 6 months

Pay : $21/hr

Job Type: Hourly Consultant

Overview:

Serve as a primary support for internal and external customers regarding employment processes. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will perform a variety of specialized duties to support personnel activities and enhance the candidate experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist internal and external individuals in the Human Resource Division, providing informational support and directing individuals to appropriate personnel.

  • Answer a multi-line telephone system, directing calls to the appropriate areas.

  • Administer various types of employment testing as directed by recruiters.

  • Organize and perform timely processing of interview scheduling activities, including travel arrangements for candidates.

  • Update HR programs such as New Hire and Vurv.

  • Conduct internal and external checks on candidates (e.g., BIG and P09).

  • Compile and send new hire packages, including welcome letters, offer letters, and new employee forms.

  • Generate security lists for orientation and complete onboarding calls prior to orientation.

  • Review incoming employee forms for completion and create new file folders.

  • Build candidate profiles and perform merge activities when necessary.

  • Post job requisitions and assist the Team Leader with process improvement initiatives.

  • Provide backup support in the absence of the Team Lead and assist first-level HR Administrator representatives with procedural questions.

  • Report on daily, monthly, and yearly results to the Team Lead.

  • Organize and monitor workload and workflow for a small team (pod).

  • Train new employees and promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the company's brand.

  • Maintain internal control standards and address audit points as applicable.

  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:

This individual will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to fulfill employment needs across the organization. They will interact with internal and external candidates, as well as various levels of management, and will often be the first contact a potential candidate has with the company.

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum one year of successful administrative experience in an HR Direct Service Center or comparable setting.

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Excellent knowledge of company policies and procedures related to talent acquisition.

  • Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

  • Proven proficiency in responding to inquiries accurately and promptly, with the ability to multitask effectively.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
