Ziegler CAT Mining Support Manager in Buhl, Minnesota

Ziegler currently has an opening for a Mining Support Manager to support the mining customers by improving certain process that affect the transacting of business between them and Ziegler. Identifying support services and parts investments to meet the demands of this customer base is an important function of this position. Periodically this position will be assigned special projects to complete. Responsibilities: Interact with Mine Managers and Sales team on customer issues and problem resolution Identify potential jobs that would benefit from having standard jobs created for them Improve the component tracking records currently maintained in the Dyno Shop Provide the specifications for an automated system to track fluid levels for our bulk storage system and Identify work order management improvements with the intent of improving days in WIP Prepare a component forecast model for Magnetation to identify potential exchange components to support this customer Customer research for GET products Qualifications: 4 year degree required MSHA Certification required Strong mechanical aptitude & familiarity of the mining industry Excellent communication and customer service skills Clean driving record Travel: Up to 25% travel Minimum Physical Requirements: Push/pull up to 30 lbs Lift/carry up to 50 lbs Lift bulky objects Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, crawling, high steps Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
