Description
Robert Half has partnered with an industry leading distribution company located in Burbank, California, and is seeking a Finance Director. This role will involve a range of financial, planning, and analysis tasks, including process standardization and automation, M& A, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in the development and implementation of financial strategy for the company
• Participating in M& A opportunity review, due diligence, and integration
• Advising management on opportunities for financial performance improvements including cost savings, revenue enhancement measures, and operational improvement opportunities
• Managing financial and accounting integrations and conversions related to system and/or process changes
• Identifying opportunities to improve internal controls over company’s processes and procedures
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
• Playing a critical role in creating SBU presentations
• Assisting in coaching, developing, and growing a high-performing Finance team
• Assisting in the domestic and international audits
Requirements
• Proven experience in a VP/Director of Finance role within the Wholesale Distribution or industry
• Expertise in Accounting Software Systems and Accounting Functions
• Proficiency in managing Capital Expenditure (CapEx)
• Strong knowledge of Audit - Financial and Auditing best practices
• Familiarity with Budget Processes and Capital Management
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis and Month End Close operations
• Experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M& A) and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)
• Skilled in Annual Financial Reporting and Financial Planning
• Ability to lead and mentor a team
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities
• Must have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; a master's degree or relevant certifications will be an advantage.
