Meta Consumer Order Operations Analyst in Burlingame, California

Required Skills:

Consumer Order Operations Analyst Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business partners to gather data and information from multiple sources to perform exploratory and descriptive analyses through SQL, Big Query, Tableau, Unidash, and Google sheets/Excel.

  2. Work closely with product teams to perform A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and statistical testing (e.g., median, standard deviation, correlation).

  3. Provide business inputs by sourcing, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data and information and providing influence and insight on current and future business trends.

  4. Build dashboards on the internal dashboarding tool Unidash and in Tableau to analyze operational performance to support weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc analytics requests from stakeholders.

  5. Build reports and derive insights and recommendations from large data sets.

  6. Build new processes and deliver optimization and improvement initiatives with direct and indirect impact to customer experience, sales, and operations.

  7. Analyze global orders data to measure and track performance metrics, including order holds, order cancellations, false positive rates, on-time hold release, and fulfilment rates.

  8. Identify region and product level trends and performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive measures.

  9. Identify gaps and opportunities, develop solutions, and provide sound business insights and recommendations through influencing.

  10. Oversee the development and improvement of new or existing operational tools, reports, and customer-facing functionalities by providing direction and input on business and functional requirements.

  11. Partner with multiple teams, including product management, engineering, risk, sales, operations, customer experience, to drive and influence cross-functional projects, achieve alignment and agreed outcomes/goals.

  12. Direct the execution of projects, work streams, and programs by managing and modifying project plans.

  13. Oversee day-to-day business operations on a global scale and drive activities and projects that generate revenue, offset operational expenses, and mitigate loss.

  14. Lead cross-functional business meetings and create business documents and presentations to present across teams.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Business, Operations, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an analyst-related occupation.

  2. Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:

    1. Building new processes and delivering process optimization/improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams
    1. Identifying gaps and opportunities, developing solutions, and providing sound business insights and recommendations through influencing
    1. Operating independently and executing on both the strategic and operational level in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
    1. Leading or working with multiple teams to achieve alignment and agreed outcomes
    1. MS Office tools/Google Suite, advanced level in Excel/Google Sheets
    1. Verbal and written communication skills with experience in putting together presentations
    1. Sales and supply chain/operations.

Public Compensation:

$171,206/year to $178,055/year + bonus + equity + benefits
