Description

We are seeking a seasoned B2B Marketing Manager with 8+ years of relevant experience in the commodities industry to join our dynamic team. This individual will take a hands-on approach in strategizing and executing marketing initiatives aimed at deepening our relationships with existing clients and acquiring new ones.

Ideal candidate will be able to work fully onsite but client is open to hybrid for the right candidate. Ideal candidate will have experience working in the commodities industry but MUST have B2B experience. Must have people management experience as you’ll be managing a small team of two direct reports. This position will work closely with the sales team so sales enablement experience is important. The position will involve up to 30% travel with the bulk of that being during conference season. Other travel will be to important clients as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective B2B marketing practices aimed specifically at the commodities sector.

  • Lead a small team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, supervision, and conducting performance evaluations.

  • Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with existing and potential clients through well-tailored marketing strategies.

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape and customer behavior in the commodities market, and incorporate insights into the marketing strategy.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create and execute compelling campaigns targeting businesses in the commodities industry.

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to identify potential areas for improvement.

  • Ensure brand consistency in all B2B marketing initiatives, in alignment with company values and goals.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

  • At least 8 years of proven work experience as a B2B Marketing Manager, preferably in the commodities industry.

  • Demonstrable leadership experience in managing a team.

  • Profound knowledge and understanding of the commodities industry.

  • Strong communication, networking, and presentation skills.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and digital marketing techniques/tools.

  • High-level strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset.

  • Excellent project management and team leadership abilities.

  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
