Acute Residential Counselor Adult: Long Term Care
Facilitate community inclusion, daily living and skill acquisition, while providing needed behavioral/and or mental health support to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate constructive activities that address goals ona client\'s Individual Support Agreement (treatment plan)
- Utilization of sound judgement and use de-escalation techniques and regulation skills during crisis situations
- Provide needed personal and/or specialized care
Requirements:
- Three to four years of experience in a human services or combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skill has been acquired
- High school degree or equivalent
- LNA preferred
- Routine lifting
- Valid driver\'s license, and use of a personal vehicle
Structure:
- Varied schedules including weekend and evening hours
- Travel within Chittenden County
- Residential homes located in Burlington.
- Non-exempt
- Union
- Starting at \$21.66 an hour
