Posting Summary
Provide educational, administrative, and technical expertise to the Standardized Patient (SP) Program by overseeing administrative and program process and by organizing, implementing, and coordinating SP teaching and assessment activities for use in all programs. This includes but not limited to; develop training and educational materials for standardized patients to participate in the education of medical students and health professionals; on-board, train, supervise and evaluate and provide feedback on performance to standardized patients and proctors.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in a related field with one to three years’ related experience required. Effective interpersonal and both written and verbal communication skills required.
Desirable Qualifications
Standardized Patient experience helpful. Training experience is desirable. Organization skills, ability to prioritize work and being an effective team player preferred.
Anticipated Pay Range $50,000 to $58,000/year
Other Information
Flexible Schedule as Required. Ability to work evening/weekends and shift daily work schedule as needed.
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position

Union Position Yes, UVMSU ($20 minimum hourly rate)
