JOB REQUIREMENTS: LDV, Inc. is the world leader in the manufacture of custom specialty vehicles, located in Burlington, Wisconsin. We build state-of-the-art, 45-foot mobile command centers with satellite communications, SWAT and tactical vehicles, real life CSI trucks, Snap-on tool trucks and more. This is a rare opportunity to join our team! We are seeking a full-time Electrical Installation Technician to build and wire stand-alone electrical systems that power custom-built vehicles. This includes building and wiring control panels, switches, relays, breakers, control modules, power converters, inverters, solar powered systems, and generators. Job responsibilities include: Using electrician and electronics skills to work on heavy duty vehicles Installing and terminating low and high voltage wiring. Running and terminating conduit. Laying out and building breaker/control panels. Installing touch screens and multiplex control modules. Installing electrical components associated with the vehicle systems. Installing lighting products and fixtures. Installing communication radios. Testing and troubleshooting all systems and equipment. Candidates should have these qualifications: Apprenticeship, Bachelor\'s, or Associate\'s degree in Electronics Or equivalent 2 years\' experience a plus Experience with power tools, wiring, and measuring is desired, but we are willing to train the right people! Quality, accuracy, and the ability to work within a crew in a fast-paced environment. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, upholstery, and/or metal fabrication skills are a plus. Must be 18 years of age or older.
