Your role at Clorox:

Production Worker:

The employee will be responsible for providing primary support to the operators and technicians in the efficient and safe operation of our systems. The position requires understanding of all equipment, its proper mode of safe operation, and the criticality of its role in the production of our products. Depending on assignment, this position will monitor machine operation and perform work associated with an automated, mechanized production line. * May be assigned to perform housekeeping, maintain grounds/facility, or serve as a fill-in to department, operate a forklift, and perform minor maintenance on equipment as required.

The Key Responsibilities are not necessarily all-inclusive. The tasks are presented for illustrative purposes only and may be amended as necessary by the department manager to meet business needs.

Starting Wage per Hour: 20.00

Shifts:

-8 hours on 5 days per week for standard shift or 6 days per week for swing shift

-10 hours on 4 days per week for standard shift

-12 hours rotating on 3 days for week 1 and 4 days for week 2

In this role, you will:

Job Description/Key Responsibilities:

  • Be willing to fill in where needed and/or operate assigned job functions on a routine basis to cover relief periods, vacations, leaves, etc., as directed

  • Ability to operate multiple rolling stock in a variety of departments

  • Ability to assist in material sampling and testing

  • Ability to perform minor system maintenance

  • Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment

  • Ability and willingness to participate in safety audits

  • Ability to perform routine computer tasks, such as online training, email, etc.

  • Ability to communicate and work with other departments and personnel

What we look for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Resume must be attached to be considered for an interview

  • Minimum of 2 years manufacturing or related experience (examples of related experience are automotive or diesel mechanic, farm, construction, heavy equipment operator or machining worker) or 2 years military service working with industrial equipment

  • Be willing to work any shift & overtime

Preferable Experience:

  • Good work/attendance record with employer.

  • Experience with material handling equipment - screw conveyors, bucket elevators, belt conveyors, or rolling stock.

  • Experience with packaging equipment - filling, bundling, and palletizing.
