Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC Customer Operations Consultant in Burnsville, Minnesota

Responsibilities: As a Customer Operations Consultant, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining accurate customer master data, ensuring seamless coordination between various departments and systems. The ideal candidate will have +3 years of Customer Service experience and +3 years of Order Entry experience within an ERP system or a similar software. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Customer Master Data Management:
    • Handle the setup and maintenance of customer master data, encompassing item setup, images, specifications, pricing, and managing customer portals.
    • Process business requests such as certificates of insurance, factory information, and contact details.
  • ERP System Maintenance:
    • Maintain item information in ERP systems and provide regular status updates to internal sales, customer operations, and cross-functional teams, particularly regarding item transitions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate across functions to gather information and ensure data integrity in both company and customer systems.
    • Manage quality documentation, testing reports, item specifications, label, and packaging information.
  • Customer Requirement Management:
    • Identify, manage, and communicate customer requirements for new and existing items.
    • Coordinate documentation and system maintenance, engaging cross-functional partners as necessary.
  • Sales Support:
    • Assist the sales team by maintaining customer-specific files and spreadsheets.
    • Handle tasks such as sending product samples, routing supplier agreements, and managing quote sheets.
  • General Contributions:
    • Undertake other duties, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in customer operations, master data, item set-up, or related roles.
    • Prior experience servicing large retail customers (CVS, Walgreens, Target, Walmart) via online portals is preferred but not required.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Self-starter who thrives working independently; confident problem solver.
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and overall tech-savvy; ability to quickly learn other tech platforms.
