JOB SUMMARY:
As an Automotive Technician, you need to be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies, as well as being a persistent problem solver. As a Automotive Technician, you will perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and according to manufacture and Woods Automotive Group, LLC standards.
Job Description:
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
- Oil changes and tire replacement /repair
- Providing labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
- Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
- Continuously learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay up to date with rapidly changing technology
- Inspecting and testing vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be suggested
- Taking technical and certification courses to maintain and develop skills necessary to stay current with new automotive technologies.
- Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining all cleanliness standards in work, office, and customer areas
Job Requirements:
- Some experience necessary -- all experience welcome!
- Must hold a valid driver's license
- Should be team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Certifications a plus!
