Excela Health RADIOLOGY TECH EP LAB in Butler, Pennsylvania
Description
$15,000 SIGN ON BONUS ELIGIBLE
The schedule for this opportunity is four 10 hour shifts per week, no weekends, holidays or call.
Performs duties as an Electrophysiology Technologist; provides assistance to the Electrophysiologist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. Utilizes specialized EP equipment; recording and measurement of intra cardiac electrograms; operates fluoroscopic x-ray equipment; provides direct and indirect patient care, quality control monitoring and reporting. Provides training for staff on EP procedures. Permitted to change patient from portable O2 to wall O2.
Education
Minimum:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology Technology Program
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Healthcare Provider CPR, and ACLS
Experience
Minimum:
Two years of invasive/interventional radiology or cardiology
Preferred:
Two years in a full-service EP lab
Other Requirements:
Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications to include prescription and non-prescription medications. Responsible to safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
