The topics of digitalization and simulations support us in planning for the future and in implementation.

Based in Oradea, we are looking for a “Senior Specialist for Shipping and Distribution” that helps us optimize and manage our distribution, import and export processes, in close collaboration and as a temporary support for our MC factory in Bad Neustadt / Germany.

What part will you play?

· Responsibility in cross-functional projects and sub-projects to optimize processes in the area of import, export and distribution.

· You are responsible for the adherence to official laws & country / EU guidelines for shipping/customs/aviation security including packaging in the end-to-end (E2E) process.

· As a contact person, you are responsible for the distribution process in value stream and footprint projects.

· You are the first contact for internal as well as external questions and challenges related to shipping processes.

· Management & control of shipping processes and service providers.

· Define, create, and analyze logistical KPIs to control the service providers and the overall distribution process and identify opportunities for improvement.

· You continuously focus on the learning and development of yourself and your team.

What you need to make real what matters.

· Master´s degree in business administration or industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain management, transportation, logistics or equivalent.

· You already have first leadership experience (functionally or project leadership), ideally in an intercultural/multinational environment.

· 5-7 years of experience in the field of domestic freight, customer service, customs, transportation logistics. On-top experience in other logistic areas such as order management and operative purchasing is beneficial.

· You have a holistic understanding of the End-to-End (E2E) supply chain and its interdependencies.

· You possess the relevant certificates/trainings in aviation security, customs and COO.

· You have proven experience in projects and in process improvement, such as the methodology of LEAN manufacturing processes. Also, you ideally have first experience in digitization and automation projects.

· You have experience in dealing with customers, service providers and freight forwarders in a qualified manner.

· Very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP (SD&MM module). Experience in S4 Global Trade Services (GTS) is beneficial.

· Good proficiency of English (spoken & written) is an absolute must since you work in an international environment. Proficiency of German is a big benefit.

· Strong team player with ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative, and multinational environment. Ideally, you do have experience in change management.

· You are willing to travel within Romania and Germany occasionally.
