Your Opportunity: Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a Team Lead of Production/Technicians to join the team in Byron, MN! Your Shift: 3rd Shift; Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am Your Responsibilities: * The ability to assign, read and understand job tickets to ensure the correct product is produced according to specifications * Manage workflow effectively to ensure deadlines are met * Operate multiple variations of inserting equipment and perform setups according to client's specs * Inspect finished product for quality and accuracy for jobs you run as well as spot check the work of others * Oversee, monitor, and coordinate activities for inserting area, responsible for material handling, assembly, and equipment operation * Act as liaison between team members and Supervisor/Manager * Effectively communicate job status and machine specific daily activities at shift change * Ensure setups are made quickly and precisely, assist in adjustments if required * Track project status and be available to provide direction and assist employees in completing project tasks * Adhere to overall project scheduling and planning to efficiently use resources to attain QA and delivery goals for projects * Performs preventative maintenance * Escalates maintenance issues to Maintenance team * Identify and train new machine operators * Technical resource for various areas - operators escalate machine/production issues to Tech Lead * Collaborates with maintenance to have an inventory of critical replacement parts as well as routine replacement parts * Acts a mentor for new employees - navigate through Monarch and Red S programs * Gives final approval to run jobs in absence of Supervisor * Backs up Supervisor/Team lead in their absence About Taylor Corporation One of the largest graphics communications firms in North America, Taylor's family of companies provide a diverse set of products, services, and technologies addressing the toughest communication challenges.
