Job Description
As a member of the Customer Success Services (CSS) organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales As part of the Customer Success Services (CSS) team, your primary role is to provide post-sales support and solutions to Oracle's customer base while advocating for their needs. This includes managing and supporting customer environments in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and offering expert guidance to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of these cloud environments.
We are looking for skilled and self-motivated Cloud DevOps Engineers who possess a strong blend of infrastructure automation, architecture design and implementation, and operational optimization skills specific to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services (OCI), along with excellent communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking IT professional with at least 10 years of industry experience, capable of tackling complex challenges independently. Prior experience in automating and architecting large-scale infrastructure solutions, preferably in OCI or similar cloud platforms, is essential.
Key responsibilities include resolving technical issues and collaborating with internal teams to implement best practices. You will also interact with customers to understand their needs, provide training, and ensure outstanding service delivery.

Responsibilities
Play a lead role in automating cloud infrastructure implementations using the latest cloud capabilities
Lead and influence the architectural design, capacity planning, tuning and the operation of customer solutions on OCI
Support Life Cycle operations and maintenance activities in Oracle Cloud
Review deployment and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack and expand monitoring capabilities
Configure and tune system and network parameters for optimum performance. Monitor system stability and performance.
Identify opportunities to improve the health, scalability, and resiliency of cloud services.
Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, SOPs, General Standards, and processes
Interact with customers and other internal stakeholders for any priority situations and react/respond timely manner.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering required.
Proficient experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, focusing on cloud technologies.
10+ years of overall experience on:
git or git based source control systems (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab).
CI/CD pipeline tooling like Jenkins
Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible
Container technology, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
Network administration & troubleshooting, Linux environments and hands-on Shell scripting
Cloud IaaS (preferably OCI) architecture design, provisioning, and maintaining Cloud solutions
Experience with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, CloudWatch, and the ELK stack is an advantage
Strong Communication Skills
Certifications: OCI DevOps Professional, OCI Architect/Operational professional, Architecture Framework such as TOGAF or similar
