Where We Work

The benefits of our approach apply to new asset developments and brownfield optimization projects across several industrial markets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain IT Systems: Ensure the reliable operation of IT systems including servers, networking hardware, operating systems, software applications, and telecommunication links. Regularly perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide advanced technical support for both hardware and software issues that arise. Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, diagnosing and resolving problems efficiently while minimizing downtime.

  • System Security: Implement and manage security solutions to protect against unauthorized access, modification, or destruction. Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and apply necessary patches and updates.

  • Backup and Recovery: Manage backup procedures and disaster recovery operations to ensure data preservation. Test backup and recovery plans regularly to ensure system resilience.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures. Generate reports on system performance, incident resolutions, and security breaches, contributing to continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with IT team members, participating in planning and executing IT projects. Communicate effectively with non-technical staff to assist with IT-related issues and provide training when necessary.

  • Vendor Management: Liaise with vendors for the procurement of new technology solutions, manage service agreements, and ensure external support meets the organization's needs.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Professional Experience: At least 7 years of experience in IT systems administration, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise in managing IT infrastructure.

  • Certifications: Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals, or similar are highly regarded.

  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of network infrastructure, operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud services (AWS, Azure).

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to quickly analyze and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining business continuity.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively articulating technical guidance and instructions to users of varying technical understanding.

  • Proactive Approach: Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential issues or bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions.
