Position Summary:

The Technical analyst will bring value to the organization by leveraging their technical and analytical aptitude, their communication and investigation skills, as well as IT knowledge. You will work onshore in Maintenance supporting teams for projects in predictive analytics as well as predictive Maintenance. This is a remote position with a preference to have the Technical Analyst in the Calgary or Saskatchewan area. The initial contract is for 1 year with a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities: Bu

 Responsible for providing technical support for the IDS Maintenance department, contributing to the planning and development of the services as a member of the team

 Providing technical and business support for three key Nutrien applications (XMPro, Mtell, GE Digital) These applications are part of the Nutrien Predictive Maintenance Portfolio

 Accountable for overseeing system upgrades, researching new tools, and designing efficient IT systems to meet the needs of business and technology

 Provide enhancements to all applications, and provide support to all third-party software tools

 Deliver regular activities of debugging interfaces, and data transfer

 Interact with clients on a routine basis to gather requirements and develop a full understanding of various business scenarios

 Work with SME to architect and build solutions around specific business problems

 Work with vendors to get timely support on designs / solution aspects

 Work with vendor solution architect to define requirements and assess solution options

 Review application recommendations / alerts with site specific business stakeholders to check for any improvements / enhancements needed

 Define problem and solution definition for event intelligence requirements

 Create /enhance data streams for data visualization as per business requirement

 Create event recommendations and define business rules

 Design and document solution for integrations to 3rd party applications

 Work with infrastructure team to keep the application up to date

Skills and Requirements

Knowledge and Skill requirements:

 Hands on experience working on predictive analytics tools and modelling using tools like XMPRO, Mtell, is an advantage

 Experience with a wide variety of IT technology to assist in troubleshooting technical issues. including software development, Infrastructure knowledge, networking, Cloud services like AWS

 Experience in data mining using statistical methodologies that may leverage both structured and unstructured data sources

 Design / build models, including extracting and combining data from multiple sources

 Advanced Analytics: needs experience building and deploying predictive models; Additionally, the candidate needs to have a fundamental statistics knowledge to be able to answer questions about underlying algorithms and processes

 5 years+ of experience in IT technical analysis as a part of a multifunctional team

 A strong knowledge in SAP EAM and integrated modules

 Relevant certificate, diploma, degree, or designation program

 Experience with business intelligence, predictive maintenance & predictive analytics, data management is a plus

 Deep knowledge of databases, system security, and troubleshooting

 A strong background of domain understanding of routine maintenance & predictive maintenance

 Hands on experience in designing solutions for integrating data from multiple sources

 Exceptional communication skills; diplomatic; charismatic

 Strong commitment to professional client service excellence

 Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams

 Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions

 Proven analytical skills and systematic problem solving

 Detail oriented and committed to a high level of accuracy

 Self-starter who works well independently as well as with others

 Time Management skills

 Experience in Maintenance & Reliability and / or Engineering null
