Experis is seeking an Event Registration Manager to work in a long-term contract role with our client, a Fortune 500 company that designs, manufactures, and sells networking equipment and technology solutions.

Title: Event Registration Manager

Location: Remote (US based candidates only) (20% travel within US required)

Duration: Long- term contract (12+ months)

Pay rate range : $30- $32/hr on W2

Event Registration Manager

The Event Registration Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for our events. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service to event attendees. The Event Registration Manager will oversee all aspects of event registration, from pre-event preparation to on-site registration and post-event reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Event Registration Management:

  • Create, with event planners’ input, and develop customized registration strategies and workflows.

  • Configure and maintain event registration software or systems, ensuring they meet event requirements.

  • Create and manage online registration forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Monitor and manage registration deadlines and quotas.

  • Attendee Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for attendee inquiries related to registration.

  • Provide timely and courteous responses to registration-related questions via email or phone.

  • Assist attendees with registration issues, including login problems, payment processing, and data entry errors.

  • Data Management:

  • Collect, validate, and manage attendee data, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

  • Generate registration reports and provide event planners with real-time registration updates.

  • Collaborate with IT or technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

  • On-Site Registration:

  • Coordinate on-site registration processes, including badge printing, materials distribution, and payment handling.

  • Train and manage on-site registration staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration experience for attendees.

  • Troubleshoot on-site registration issues and provide solutions in real-time.

  • Payment Processing:

  • Process payments, refunds, and invoicing related to event registration.

  • Reconcile registration revenue and expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Work with finance and accounting teams to ensure compliance with financial procedures.

  • Post-Event Reporting:

  • Generate post-event registration reports and analyze attendee data for event evaluation.

  • Gather attendee feedback and insights to improve the registration process for future events.

  • Collaborate with event planners to archive registration data for historical reference and policy compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, event management, or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in event registration or customer service roles.

  • Proficiency in event registration software and database management. (Cvent preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
