As a Trainee Account Manager, you will receive hands-on, progressive professional work experience as well as educational and financial incentives to support you in pursuing a professional insurance designation (ACII or CPCU). This is a 2-year program where you will gain on-the-job experience to empower you to develop the technical knowledge and skills needed to become a successful Account Manager within an insurance broking team.

What the day will look like
Provide administrative support to the Aon Risk Solutions (Cayman) Ltd. team.
Maintain electronic client records, archiving and storing records in accordance with business procedures.
Assist in entering new and renewal policies, invoicing, and attaching relevant documents into system including client and insurer correspondence.
Assist in preparing and distributing client insurance policy documentation.
Process incoming mail, cheques and assisting in collecting, processing, and receipting insurance premium payments on systems.
Assist the team in processing and monitoring accounts receivables.
Assist the team in performing policy changes, underwriting, market reviews, renewal process and renewal strategies.
Assist in preparing and reviewing insurance quotations.
Process due diligence checks on systems, obtain AML on new clients, and ensure compliance requirements are maintained.
Assist with preparing and collecting information for periodic audits.
Ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.
Work towards building own portfolio of clients upon completion of FIT/ IF1 or equivalent General Insurance exam.
You will be required to diligently pursue the ACII/CPCU designation to support the technical level of competence and qualification required to progress to a qualified Account Manager/Broker.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
An associate degree in business administration, finance, or insurance is preferable.
Previous administrative experience, preferably in the insurance or financial services industries is required.
Ability to multi-task a variety of assignments.
Ability to compute mathematical equations with accuracy.
Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products especially MS Word and Excel.
Keen to learn about underwriting practices and procedures and insurance products.
FIT/ IF1 (or equivalent) exam to be completed within 6 months of joining if not already attained.
