Aerotek Assembler Operator in CAMARILLO, California

Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assembler for a 3 month temporary position. You will be responsible for assembling batteries for large vehicles (heavy product) using tools such as drills and torque wrenches. The batteries/products will be on a pallet jack, and your job will include transporting and assembling them according to blueprints and work instructions. This role involves performing arithmetic calculations, converting fractions to decimals/millimeters, and using computer software such as Google Sheets or Excel. You will also prepare, process, clean, install, rework, verify, test, and/or inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. Additionally, you will use auxiliary equipment, micrometers, and height gauges to accurately measure parts and verify tolerances, ensuring the functionality of completed parts with the use of a Digital Multimeter.

Hard Skills

  • Technical and mechanical aptitude

  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills

  • Knowledge in the usage of hand tools, power tools, fabricating equipment, and portable air tools

  • Ability to drill, ream, tap, rivet, and install heli-coils

  • Proficient in using micrometers and height gauges

  • Ability to use torque wrenches

  • Proficient in using computer software such as Google Sheets or Excel

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s).

$22 hr

Monday-Friday &-3:30pm

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CAMARILLO, California.

Work Environment

Approximately 60 people work in this brand-new building. The dress code includes PPE, steel-toed boots, jeans, smocks, and no jewelry.
