The Speech Server team is looking for a skilled and highly motivated software engineer to build the next generation server architecture to power speech recognition applications throughout Apple, including Siri and Dictation. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering reliable and scalable server solutions leveraging Apple’s state of the art speech recognition technology. This is a highly cross functional role and you will work closely with research, infrastructure, and application partner teams.
Description
An ideal candidate should be a strong programmer and a creative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, working across teams and organizations. You obsess over building scalable systems and care deeply building high quality, well tested software. You enjoy learning new technologies and have deep interest in server side distributed systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or related field and with 2+ years of experience in C++ Server Development
Experience building software for Linux-based platforms
Excellent software design and programming skills in C++ Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Swift programming language
Experience designing, building, deploying and maintaining distributed systems
