Shire Associate Director, Marketing - US Immunology in Cambridge, Massachusetts
The Associate Director, U.S. Immunology Marketing will be responsible for developing and leading key marketing strategies and initiatives within Immunology Franchise Marketing plans.
Leader within the patient marketing team to ensure marketing plans align with Immunology franchise strategies and brand leads
Oversee the development and implementation of key marketing strategies, tactics and messaging for on-going commercialization of Immunology franchise
Act as day-to-day lead in the implementation and development of promotional materials, messaging, and programming across all patient marketing channels
Expertise in development and execution of multi-channel marketing programs (print, in-office, non-personal and digital)
Act as Shire lead in project management with agency partners including: medical communication, HCP, consumer, digital, PR and advocacy agencies
Ensure all resources and programming are in alignment with Shire Compliance, Legal, Medical and Regulatory requirements
Work effectively with internal stakeholders including: Sales, Patient Services, Medical, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance & Market Insights
Lead at professional & patient conferences
Other activities as designated by the Marketing team to support the successful execution of internal and field based initiatives
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science and / or business and 7-10 years of relevant brand experience (Marketing, Sales, Market Research, and Analytics). MBA is a plus.
Knowledge and experience of working in a Marketing role within the Rare/Orphan disease space
Agency management experience (briefing/execution/budgetary oversight)
Strong leadership experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical patient marketing
