ManpowerGroup Building Automation Systems Technician in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Our client is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems Technician to join our team. This role involves supporting the design, installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of building automation systems.

Job Title: Building Automation Systems Technician

Location: Cambridge, MA

Pay Range: $40-44/hr.

What’s the Job?

  • Assist in designing and implementing building automation, lighting controls, and video management platforms.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards during installations.

  • Develop customized programs and scripts for automation systems.

  • Configure and integrate devices, sensors, and equipment.

  • Perform system diagnostics and troubleshoot issues.

  • Conduct periodic inspections, testing, and calibration.

  • Maintain detailed project documentation.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Experience with control systems (e.g., pneumatics, Wattstopper, Siemens).

  • Understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in commercial buildings.

  • Proficient in programming and troubleshooting automation systems.

  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards.

  • Valid driver's license.
