This Senior Stock Plan Administrator role at Thermo Fisher Scientific - a Fortune 100 Company - is crucial to successful operation of our Stock Plan Administration. As an individual contributor, this position plays an integral role to improve internal processes and participant experience in support of our long-term incentive plans, ultimately enabling Thermo Fisher Scientific to attract and retain top talent. The role requires strong data and system analysis and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective project management and interpersonal skills to be successful.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with team members to ensure all equity life cycle transactions (award grants, releases and exercises, termination/cancellations) are handled end to end, from preparation activities in Fidelity Plan Sponsor equity system thru, distribution of payroll files, release of employee communications, system uploads, audit/reconciliation and response to inquiries.

Work cross-functionally with HR, Legal, Payroll, Financial Reporting and Tax teams to help ensure all reporting, proxy, regulatory, and administration needs are met.

Participate in and/or lead ongoing projects to improve and automate internal processes, handle integration of acquired population/grant data, leverage. Fidelity system functionality, and enhance employee and partner experiences.

Maintain data integrity of the equity database by auditing/reviewing participant demographic and grant data and monitoring and updating tax profiles.

Track mobile employee movement and engage with our mobility service provider to ensure accuracy of mobility sourcing calculations and payroll files.

Assess constantly evolving global securities and tax compliance rules of LTI programs and work with internal and external partners to develop strategies to meet changing needs.

Provide monthly and quarterly share plan, payroll and other adhoc reconciliations as needed. Help triage and respond to employee inquiries, ensure a stellar level of service is provided to partners and other cross-functional teams.

Support and/or lead complex cross-functional implementation/automation projects with internal team members and external vendors. Provide new ideas and oversee project deliverables to help transform processes for scalable and compliant global equity programs.

Assist in developing equity education training and communication campaigns.

Collaborate with teams (Compensation, Rewards and Talent) and collaborators (Tax, Payroll, Legal, HRIS, Accounting, etc.) to meet strategic goals.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 5+ years stock plan administration experience preferred

  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) preferred

  • Solid attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in fast paced, global environment

  • Ability to plan and complete work with high level of autonomy

  • Experience working with vendor systems, interface files and databases

  • Convey strong customer service focus

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $93,800.00–$140,000.00.
