Job Description
Overview
This individual will have responsibility for growing the prospects portion of the Marketing and Sales funnel. Utilizing various information sources and tools, the incumbent will find the right people to reach out to, and then work with the front end of the Life Sales teams to build relationships and qualify the prospect(s). This role will report to the Sales Enablement Manager
Duties and Responsibilities
Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing and following up on leads and appointment setting for external sales team
Initiates lead/demand generation strategies that include outbound sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives
Initiates and participates in new business pitches with sales team and subject matter experts and own follow-through with the lead prospect
Effectively communicate and present value proposition to customers
Working collaboratively in a team environment and independently
Achieving sales lead gen and appointment quotas
Required Skills & Experience
College or university degree Business or Marketing (or related)
Excellent communication skills, second language in German, French or Italian would be an asset
Experience with lead generation and proficiency with Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, Dunn and Bradstreet and various other prospecting tools
Must possess excellent communication skills both oral and written and be skilled in prospecting via both phone and email
Highly self-motivated, while able to work independently as well as a member of a team
Ability to multi-task daily projects and commitments and employ structured qualifying prospecting methods is required.
B2B prospecting experience in the life sciences industry is an asset
