Insight Global Embedded Software Engineer in Camden, New Jersey
Job Description
One of our large federal clients is looking for embedded software engineers to join the software development team. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in C and C++ as well as extracting C++ and working in architecture. Candidates must have at least a secret clearance. Ideal candidates will also have software development leadership experience and be local to New Jersey.

Skills and Requirements
Secret, Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, Top Secret SCI with a poly clearance required
Proficiency in C and C++ and a deep understanding of both languages, including memory management, pointers, and low-level programming.
Modern C++ (C++11 and beyond) and familiarity with the latest standards and features like smart pointers, lambda expressions, and concurrency.
Embedded Systems Architecture and knowledge of microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-software interfacing.
Debugging and testing experience with debugging tools, unit testing, and integration testing for embedded systems.
Strong code optimization skills in optimizing code for performance and memory usage, crucial for resource-constrained environments.
Good understanding of communication protocols with an understanding of protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN.
Proficiency with Version Control Systems and tools like Git for source code management
Previous experience leading small to medium software development teams. Experience with EVMS null
