Posting Summary | The Rutgers School of Nursing-Camden seeks expert practitioners and clinicians to join our dynamic team of faculty to share knowledge and experience with undergraduate students preparing for licensure as registered nurses in a wide variety of care settings. Successful applicants will work closely with faculty course coordinators to ensure the achievement of learning outcomes consistent with course objectives, including the maintenance of collaborative effective and ongoing communication with the course coordinator concerning student progress and/or concerns. Responsibilities include attending orientation, reviewing course syllabi with the course coordinator, using the electronic resources associated with the course to access information pertinent to the education of students providing care, grading assignments in Canvas, providing student formative and summative evaluation, documenting clinical observations and/or reportable incidents which may occur during the clinical experience. The posting of grades, completion of the end of semester clinical course report, responding in a timely fashion to student emails via the Rutgers email system and adhering to all policies, procedures, and deadlines of the School of Nursing-Camden are expectations. Some clinical sites require meetings at the site in advance of the clinical assignment and completion of additional site-based requirements. Successful applicants will be required to submit a copy of all required documents including an official transcript of the highest nursing degree earned and a health clearance to penny.mancini@rutgers.edu no later than one week following notification of their assignment. |
