Tenant Resource Counselor (CV75-2) - Homeless Services Division
The position of Tenant Resource Counselor will report to the Program Director and/or Social Services Coordinator and will be a vital part of their Treatment Team. They will use advanced tools to conduct risk/needs assessments and develop service plans for all clients assigned to their caseload. They will implement those plans subject to review by the Treatment Team and/or approval of the Director/Treatment Coordinator. They will schedule and facilitate case management meetings with clients as required and facilitate scheduled workshops/programs/groups addressing client's needs. They will also maintain appropriate contact with outside Agencies contracted to provide specific outsourced services.
The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to interact effectively with both clients and other team members in situations that can sometimes be stressful. Vital for success in the role will be the capacity to achieve an effective balance between set operational policies and procedures and the use of initiative as and when the need arises.

The successful applicant will also possess effective written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to interact appropriately with clientele. Applicants with basic computer skills will be preferred.
