Summer Help - Part Time - Camp Hill, PA

This is an hourly position.

Pay: $15/hr

Position Summary: Perform laboratory analysis on raw and finished product to ensure that it meets customer and company specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare incoming wheat for testing.

  • Perform analytical testing on incoming wheat using lab equipment.

  • Document results in TLC.

  • Promptly communicate results to appropriate department.

  • Monitor, operator, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, calibrate when applicable.

  • Follow all safety and environmental rules and regulations applicable to position.

  • Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

  • Must be able to write clearly.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with other departments, management, and employees and notifying appropriate teams of non-conformance and other concerns.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by QFS Manager.

Job Requirements:

  • Analytical laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary. Position requires proficiency in MS Office and basic PC skills. Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time while performing job duties. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

  • Additional Information: Must be willing to learn all lab testing and procedures to provide lab staff support and relief when needed. 1st Shift(6am-2pm) Monday -Friday. Overtime (Saturday-Sunday-6am-2pm) if needed.
