Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/ENTARCH) in Camp H.M. Smith Marine Corp Base, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/ENTARCH) within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. Responsibilities You will coordinate with stakeholders to identify key C4 requirements of operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) across the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations. You will engage and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders to plan, implement, and/or review technical C4 issues and activities in support of operational priorities. You will participate in operational planning efforts, exercises, forums, etc. to analyze risk and develop approaches and strategies for supporting C4 operational projects. You will generate and/or compile decision support products for command leadership. You will prepare, present, and defend recommendations and planning products to senior leaders. You will manage projects as assigned and support innovation and further development of the organization and processes. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications For GS-13 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to assess enterprise architecture requirements needed support to operations. 2.) Utilizing knowledge management tools to integrate and display relevant information in support of operational planning activities. 3.) Preparing, presenting, and defending recommendations and operational planning products to support senior decision making; 4.) Managing IT-related or other projects to include developing and modifying plans, monitoring project activities, and taking corrective action to solve issues. For GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to assess enterprise architecture support to operations. 2.) Utilizing knowledge management tools to integrate and display relevant information and develop reports. 3.) Conducting both oral and written communication clearly to explain operational information to senior leaders.
