Quality Assurance Administrative Coordinator

Salary: $17.78 - $18.93

Position Overview

Step into a vital role as our Quality Assurance Coordinator and become a driving force in our fast-paced Quality Assurance department. This exciting position involves managing a broad array of Quality Assurance tasks across the agency, from crafting impactful reports to safeguarding sensitive information. You'll be the go-to person for maintaining our Records Room and coordinating records purges, all while ensuring our organization's data is meticulously managed.

Work Location: Canandaigua, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday 0800-1200pm with flexibility to meet agency needs

Responsibilities

  • Records proceedings of the Incident Review Committee and the Reportable Incident Review. Summarizes events from documentation received, as well as information presented at committee meetings and accurately reflects follow-up as presented by program supervisors. Prepares and distributes minutes within two weeks of the meeting. Uses Incident log database and tracks incidents on a yearly basis. Prepares year-end summaries for Trend analysis. Prepares packets for committee members prior to the meeting, distributes in a timely manner and shreds confidential material following the meeting.

  • Reviews the OPWDD Incident Review Management Application to ensure the QA Department is entering all required information in a timely manner, keeps the team informed of new incidents as they occur in the database and enters information as needed.

  • Prepares packets for HRC Committee Meetings and distributes to Committee prior to scheduled meetings. Acts as HRC Scribe, distributes minutes in timely fashion. Updates HRC tickler, tracks and saves approval forms.

    Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Applied Science (Administrative Assistant) or related field and three years related work experience or an equivalent amount of education and experience.

  • Experience with word processing and data entry. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Prezi, PowerPoint. Ability to master additional software (Therap, Relias, etc.) as needed.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a necessity.

  • No lifting restrictions.
