Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of industrial equipment and machinery. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery, communicating with the maintenance and operations managers, and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V. The role involves working with PLCs, photo eyes, sensors, switches, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, blueprints, and schematics. Additional duties include welding, brazing, burning operations, and interpreting prints and wiring diagrams. The technician will install, replace, and maintain 3-phase motors, work with valves, bearings, gearboxes, and repair conveyors and spray booths. The candidate will also adjust equipment for proper alignment and operation, operate lathes, and handle material shipments. Record-keeping, workplace organization, housekeeping, and directing other maintenance staff are also part of the role. Collaboration with the engineering department is expected.

Pay: $25.70/hr

1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in CANFIELD, Ohio.

Work Environment

1st shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with overtime as required. The facility is a manufacturing environment with a mix of new and old equipment, including conveyor systems and spray booths. The environment is unionized with around 28 employees on the production floor and 5 in maintenance. The company values trust, communication, and safety, operating since the 1950s. The work supports the consumer, construction, and automotive industries.
