Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.  Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamics Mission Systems is currently seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer (Mid-level)  in our Canonburg, PA facility. Progeny Systems, a business area within the General Dynamics Mission Systems company, is a high-tech business focusing on software and hardware system integration, cutting-edge research and development, and manufacturing. We deliver architectures, designs, testing, and production of the current and next generation torpedo guidance and control systems for the Department of Defense providing the warfighter with advanced capabilities in target detection, acquisition, and prosecution. We are a technology leader in numerous areas including technology insertion; acoustic sensors; signal processing; guidance; cyber secure; and high reliability systems. Duties and Tasks: Use electrical engineering knowledge to support the definition and assessment of interoperability of various electrical and electronic systems on undersea systems and associated support equipment Design and maintain schematics and other related engineering documentation Define electrical system architecture, electronic assembly design, performance predictions, and external vendor support for various engineering assemblies Provide electrical engineering expertise to support the integration and troubleshooting of a wide range of electronic assemblies Conduct/lead non-conformance investigations and corrective actions Provide electrical subject matter expertise during acceptance and qualification testing of electronic assemblies Participate in system level testing, in water events, and associated missions as needed. What Sets you apart: Proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design. Target salary range: USD $107,520.00/Yr. - USD $120,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
