Job Description
Brake Press Operator | 1st Shift - 5a-3:30p (M-TH) | $18.50 +$21/hr | Canton, OH
Sets up and operates power brake to bend, notch, punch, form rolls, arc, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal and structural shapes.
Reads blueprints or sketch specifications by performing the following duties:
Selects, positions, and aligns dies in machine ram and fastens clamp bar that holds dies in position.
Turns adjustment screws to set specified pressure of ram and clearance between dies to thickness of metal, as indicated by calibrated scale or feelers.
Lays out or details layout on work stock from blueprints or templates.
Starts machine to lower ram or depresses pedal to activate ram that bends metal.
Sets stops on machine bed and repositions stock to run successive pieces, or to perform multiple operations.
Verifies dimensions of work-piece, first piece, and random inspection of production.

This is a fully on-site position in Canton, Ohio.
Work Environment
State of the Art Facility with a brand new addition in 2023. Clean, well-lit, climate-controlled environment and very safe place to work. Have 135 employees in Canton and looking to grow! Willing to work with and train employees. There are team leads in each department to assist. Shifts Offered: Days - 1st Shift (M-TH 5am-3:30pm) or Afternoon - 2nd Shift (M-TH 1:30p-11:30p) or Nights - 3rd Shift (M-TH 6:30pm-5am) or Weekend Shift - Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm - work 36 hours, paid for 40 hours.
