**[POSITION SUMMARY:
[[Metis is recruiting for a Non-Destructive Inspector (NDI) position to support our Pad Safety contract at Cape Canaveral, FL. This position will support the Space Force Delta 45 Range Safety Office and other range customer. This position will administer, facilitate, and implement a pressure vessel and systems certification/re-certification, process safety information, and mechanical integrity program at the 45 SW.

- Design engineering analysis
- Inspection and test planning
- Nondestructive examinations
- Hazard assessments
- Design reviews
- Establishing/maintaining inventory of highly hazardous pressurized systems
- Field inspections
- Review of systems configuration
- Compliance analysis
- System documentation review
- Managing and implementing the in-service inspection program
- Management of the pressure system information and mechanical integrity database

- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
- NDI Inspector
- Certified Welding Inspector
- Certified by ASNT as ACCP Level II
- Certified AWS CWI D1.1 Structural Welding Code-Steel
- 5 years relevant management or supervisory experience, preparation and/or review and approval of hazardous operating procedures
- 3 years experience in CCAFS launch facilities and operations (or equivalent), familiarity withoperations safety
