AIG develops insurance solutions that address the exposures of companies and individuals, embodying the tradition of innovation and bringing to market groundbreaking insurance solutions for our changing world. Based in our Netherlands office located in the Rivium in Capelle aan den IJssel, you will be part of our Non-Complex team.

The team focuses on expanding our presence in the small and medium enterprises segment with quick and simple insurance solutions through insurance brokers and authorized agents (volmacht). We combine standardized products and a simplified application processes with product- and industry expertise.

About the role

Within this role you will be an integral part of the team. You will be part of a continuously improving team that strives to provide best-in-class service with state-of-the-art insurance solutions.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Being part of the day-2-day activities related to quoting new business and handling incoming change requests for existing policies related to Financial Lines and Accident & Health products;

  • Developing a deep understanding of the insurance products and services in scope and utilize in the day-2-day interactions with our distribution partners.

  • Contributing to the process of product development with aim to optimize and expand our product range.

  • Supporting in development of data analytics and portfolio management structure analysis to be able to manage the portfolio of insurance policies;

  • Contribution to Non-Complex growth target, through commercial activities like for example broker visit and product presentations

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for a professional who is eager to learn and flexible in the way of working. We value a diverse background of experience, culture, and thought. Our ideal candidate has preferably excelled in previous work, possesses strong analytical skills and is a team player. Experience in underwriting or an insurance environment is a plus.
