Description
We are currently searching for a technically proficient Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's team in Cardiff. If you have a strong background in finance and a knack for technical intricacies, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Utilize advanced accounting software to process accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Employ advanced reconciliation techniques to ensure the integrity of the accounts receivable ledger.
Execute complex collection strategies to recover overdue invoices and mitigate credit risk.
Analyze and interpret accounts receivable aging reports to identify trends and patterns.
Investigate and resolve complex billing discrepancies or disputes with precision and efficiency.
Implement automated processes and workflows to streamline accounts receivable operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial systems and procedures.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in accounting technology and recommend innovative solutions.
Act as a subject matter expert in accounts receivable processes and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Proficiency in advanced accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for process improvement.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
Certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) or advanced degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
