EMSL Analytical Inc. Courier/Sample Collector in Carle Place, New York
EMSL is seeking a Full Time Courier/Sample Collector for its Carle Place, NY location. This position is customer service oriented and involves driving to and from client locations picking up and dropping off samples to the laboratory. This person will be coordinating between the Carle Place, Long Island City, and Manhattan locations. They will on occasion drive to our Piscataway and/or Cinnaminson locations.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Pick up or delivery of time sensitive samples and/or equipment between client location and labPosition requires driving for various lengths of time in and around NYC and NJSome evening and weekend work may be required as neededMaintain written log of daily activityEnsure vehicles service/basic maintenance is kept upAssist with basic office/lab duties (sweeping, mopping, trash and light cleaning) when neededAdditional tasks as needed per manager, based on the business needsRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalentOne to two years of experience as a Courier/Driver is a plusMust be willing and able to drive to New York City, throughout Long Island, Piscataway, NJ and Cinnaminson, NJ and other surrounding areas as neededMust have valid driver's license and clean driving recordGood with directions/using GPSAble to lift min 40lbsOrganized and be able to prioritize tasks/deliveriesExcellent communication skills and good attitude will have daily interaction with company's clientsAvailable Shift:Monday to Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.Pay range for this position is $17.00 to $18.00 per hour.EMSL offers full time benefits: medical, dental, 401(k), voluntary benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, flexible spending accountTo find out more about EMSL Analytical, Inc. please visit our website at: www.emsl.comEOE including Veterans and Disabled
