Position Summary: The Shipping and Receiving Clerk position verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments, assists with material requests from production, maintains accurate inventory numbers, and prepares material for shipments assuring all paperwork is correct.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Preliminary inspection and transacting of incoming product for shipment (rejecting or accepting). Shipping UPS, FedEx, and Truck Freight Packaging, labelling, and verification of product ready for shipment. Maintain an organized and clean work area. Working with customers to manage timely shipping information. Opportunity to assist in QC inspection of finished goods. In a timely manner assist on material requests from production floor to avoid any stops in production. Cycle counts. Scrapping of nonconforming material. Processing RMAs. Assist in Inventory discrepancy investigations. Required participation in internal training as needed to perform the duties assigned to this role. Other duties as assigned.
