Job Description

As a Solderer Assembler III, you will be responsible for assembling, reworking, and reassembling products as specified on applicable documentation. You will verify the accuracy of instruction documents and check your work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications through verification and testing. Additionally, you will work directly with supervisors or leads to advise on work-related problems or product discrepancies, record test data and results, and train others in the test and inspection process. You will also assist the Team Lead with planning, inventory control, and product movement.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, rework, and reassemble products as specified on applicable documentation.

  • Verify the accuracy of instruction documents.

  • Check work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications through verification and testing.

  • Work directly with supervisors or leads to advise on work-related problems or product discrepancies.

  • Record test data and results.

  • Train others in the test and inspection process.

  • Assist Team Lead with planning, inventory control, and product movement.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in production, soldering, assembly, and hand tool usage.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Mechanical aptitude and computer operation skills.

  • Experience with fine pitch soldering and electronic assembly.

  • Good manual dexterity, particularly with small parts and PCBs.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate interest and willingness to learn soldering.

  • Basic computer skills.

  • High attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.

  • Experience with small parts is ideal, but open to training those with hobbies that require dexterity (think size of a fingernail).

Work Environment

Our work environment includes a manufacturing casual dress code with provided HME coat and glasses. We offer shifts starting at 5am (1st shift) and 2:30pm-11:00pm (2nd shift). Our state-of-the-art manufacturing floor, built in 2018, features a break room with multiple microwaves, refrigerators, self-serve kiosks for snacks and meals, inside and outside seating, and multiple TVs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, California.
