Robert Half Member Services Representative in Carmel, Indiana

Description We are seeking a Member Services Representative to join our team in the non-profit industry located in Carmel, Indiana. This role involves managing and updating our membership database, coordinating member services, and providing support to our team and members. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the organization's membership database, ensuring that all member details and statuses are regularly updated and accurate.

• Coordinate all aspects of member services, including the processing of membership status changes such as initiation, disaffiliations, and expulsions.

• Handle inquiries related to all aspects of membership, connecting members with appropriate staff members as needed.

• Develop relationships with chapter leaders and advisors, working with them to update and make necessary changes to their rosters.

• Update the database with changes such as address updates, occupational information, and other changes.

• Provide historical membership trends and data from the database to support strategic decision-making.

• Coordinate the packing, preparation, and shipping of welcome materials for all new members.

• Assist with event registration and other tasks as assigned.

• Serve as the staff liaison to the database company for any updates as necessary.

• Work with chapter leaders on matters pertaining to member retention and ensuring that chapters understand the services and programs offered by the organization. Requirements • Proficiency in computer programs and CRM systems

• Experience with the Salesforce platform is desirable

• Ability to handle and manage answering inbound calls

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Knowledge of the non-profit industry is beneficial

• High school diploma or equivalent is required

• Previous experience in a member services or customer service role is preferred.
