Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Carrollton, Texas
Description
A client of ours in the dental industry is looking to hire an accounts payable specialist to help coordinate and complete timely third-party payments and other requests for disbursement by receiving, reviewing, and reconciling invoices/statements for approximately 25- 30 dental offices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Maintaining the Accounts Payable ledger by:
o Verifying, calculating, posting, and correcting assigned account transactions
o Adequately researching and correcting any questionable items
o Voiding and issuing stop payments as deemed necessary
• Obtaining proper information and data related to invoices/statements by mail or e-mail
• Retaining copies of vouchers, invoices/statements, or other correspondence necessary for electronic files
• Calculating available account balances to request office loans as needed
• Assisting in the reconciliation of monthly bank statements by marking open Accounts Payable items as paid in a timely manner
• Corresponding professionally with clients both inside and outside the Company
• Performing other related duties and providing other clerical support as necessary
Requirements
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Previous accounts payable or other full-cycle accounting experience a plus
Programs and Systems Used:
• Accounting System - Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains - huge plus if they have this experience
• Payment Processing and Document Retention System - Fidesic Enliven
• Microsoft Office Suite Products - Outlook, Word, Excel
Must key everything into MS Dynamics Great Plains Software - a plus if they have this
Excel pivot tables and VLOOKUP's are a plus
